This month at the Sarasota Java Users group, we will hear three talks.
First up is Skyway Software. Skyway will give us a follow up to their Skyway 6.0 preview talk earlier this year. Since then, they've release version 6 Beta, as well as an open source community edition. Skyway will also tell us about a new open-source Domain Specific Language (DSL) product and their community site.
They will also provide the food! You can find out more at www.skywaysoftware.com
Next up, Doug Rothauser will tell us why we should "favor composition over inheritance"
Presentation Materials (PPT 550K)
And finally, Steve Goldsmith will give us a "Java One Recap"
This will be our last meeting until September, so we will also discuss our plans and topics for the fall, and talk about our summer project, the Web App Framework Shootout.
Food and refreshments will be provided by Skyway Software.
6-7PM: Food and Networking
7PM - 9PM: Presentation
Please RSVP to dave@sunjug.org if you plan on attending. All are welcome.
